What's this world coming to?

When Hank Williams, Jr. and Al Davis are out of sight? I've been watching football since I was twelve. It was pretty much the only time I got to spend with my dad. He was a minister and would cut his sermons short to get home to watch Lynn Swann and Terry Bradshaw and Roman Gabriel and Len Dawson and so many more. But this mess with Hank Williams, Jr.? Give me a break, ESPN. Get over yourselves. And Al Davis?! We loved you, Al. Crazy hair and all. These guys cannot be replicated. There's no one around like them anymore. We're so over the top with political correctness that we're turning into clones of each other. Count me out. I LOVED the opening of the CMA awards tonight, RIGHT ON! Love you Hank, Jr.!

Beach Boys New Album out today!

As a young teenager living in Napa in the early 60's with a really cute surfer boyfriend, the Beach Boys were IT. We spent long hours listening to the beautifully blended voices and wonderful lyrics coming out of the radio. It was heaven. I'll never forget that time in my life and how innocent and happy it was for me, and lot of it had to do with the music of the Beach Boys. I can't wait to hear the new album!
